Get to Know Me
Dr. Kowshik Sen was born in the small, densely populated Asian country of Bangladesh, but grew up all over the world. By the age of 13, Dr. Sen had attended schools in three different countries and 2 different states. He completed his undergraduate degree at The College of New Jersey. He attended medical school at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in the heart of historic Harlem of New York City. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York Medical College’s Westchester Medical Center.
Dr. Sen’s passion lays in helping the greater community, particularly those who are underserved. He began his career with Pioneer Medical Group upon graduating residency in the fall of 2021. Since then, Dr. Sen has been awarded multiple recognitions for documentation and serves as a CDI Champion at AH Ocala. He also currently serves as the Medical Director to the Medical Ethics Committee and is currently participating in the 2023/24 Advent Health Leadership Fellowship.
Dr. Sen’s favorite pastimes include dancing, playing video games, binging TV shows, and exploring new cultures and food through his travels. His favorite sport is football (soccer) and supports Arsenal Football Club.
