Pioneer Medical Group, seeks Medical Director / Hospitalist to work at AdventHealth Sebring & AdventHealth Lake Placid in Highlands County, FL. Responsible for providing direct care in internal medicine to adult patients in clinical rotations; diagnosing patients; ordering consults, diets, IV fluid; consulting pharmacies; ER admissions; & discharging of patients. Will attend all standing meetings re: hospital operations; supervise team of healthcare professionals; quality assurance; protocol development; and respond to emergencies as needed.
Candidates must have M.D. degree or certified foreign equivalent, valid FL physician license; completion of internal medicine residency program; and BE/BC in internal medicine prior to employment commencing.
