Get to Know Me
My educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, followed by a Master of Science and a PhD in Chemistry. After my academic pursuits, I ventured into the medical field, earning my MD from the USF College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at USF Health and subsequently pursued a Nephrology Fellowship at UM/Jackson in Miami, Florida.
Throughout my career, I have contributed my expertise in various healthcare settings. I have worked in Nephrology at Mercy Hospital, Sabucedo Nephrology Group, and Aventura Hospital in Miami, Florida. I have also served as a Hospitalist at Cape Coral Hospital in Cape Coral, Florida and Physicians Regional Hospital in Naples, Florida. Additionally, I have provided Nephrology locums at Naples Community Hospital. Alongside my clinical work, I have held roles in research and academia, including being a faculty member at FIU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and working as an R&D Scientist and Project Leader at Baxter Diagnostics.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I have a passion for various hobbies. I enjoy cycling to stay active, playing the guitar as a creative outlet, and playing tennis for recreation and stress relief.
