Rachel has over two decades of healthcare management experience with a focus on leadership, hospital operations, and strategy. She enjoys fostering positive relationships with her teams and believes in the power of collaboration. As Pioneer’s COO, she passionately leads and guides her teams to unify and execute clinical performance improvement processes that support the delivery of a positive, high-quality, and safe patient experience. Rachel cultivates a culture that builds upon Pioneer’s three pillars and her vast experience significantly contributes to the success of the company’s mission.
Rachel started her career in 1997 as a Radiation Therapist and previously served as AVP of Ancillary Services at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel and VP of Operations at AdventHealth Tampa. In these roles, her primary duties included the development and execution of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization.
Originally from Illinois, Rachel received her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from the University of St. Francis and later earned her master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Her biggest accomplishment is raising her two children as a single mom. Rachel enjoys travel, live music, interior design, exercise, and is part of the pickleball craze.
