Get to Know Me
I am currently working as an academic hospitalist at Advent Health Sebring. In my role, I am actively involved in providing direct patient care, while also teaching medical students and residents. As part of the core faculty in the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program, I contribute to curriculum development in the field of Nephrology.
Mentorship is something I am deeply passionate about, and I enjoy guiding and supporting students and residents engaged in various scholarly activities. I find great satisfaction in helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
I graduated from Khyber Medical College in Pakistan in 2013 before pursuing my residency at Louis A Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. I completed my residency in June 2020. Following that, I pursued further specialization in Nephrology, becoming a board-certified Nephrologist. I received my nephrology training at RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago and later completed a Glomerular disease fellowship in July 2023.
I began my post-graduate career with Pioneer Medical Group in August 2022, where I had the opportunity to further enhance my clinical skills and knowledge.
Outside of my professional life, I have a love for travel and exploration. Family trips and long drives are some of the activities I enjoy the most. Being a family-oriented person, I cherish spending quality time with my wife and our daughter, Eshaal.
