Get to Know Me
“Prior to joining Pioneer Medical Group, I was completing my Master’s in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania. I completed my undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida majoring in Biomedical Science. I recently completed my Master’s in Public Health at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine specializing in Healthcare Management at the Wharton Business School. I am currently an MBA: Healthcare Management candidate at Saint Leo University.
“I was heavily involved with the opioid crisis in Kensington, Philadelphia. I worked as the Primary Care Team Lead and quality improvement team at Prevention Point Philadelphia. I helped provide preventative services and safe practices for the opioid dependent population hardest hit by the epidemic. I completed two theses during my time at UPenn: 1) healthcare provider perspectives in the learning to drive process in children with autism and without. 2) Medicare and Open Payments correlation with opioid prescribing in Florida.
“During my free time, I love traveling around the world, long-distance running, tennis, cooking, and spending time with my friends and family.”
