Get to Know Me
I am a dedicated hospitalist. In my role, I conduct daily assessments and provide care for hospitalized patients. I collaborate closely with consultants and nurses to discuss cases, offer emotional support to patients, and handle admissions during my designated call slot.
I obtained my medical degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where I laid the foundation for my career in medicine. To further refine my skills and knowledge, I completed my internal medicine residency at Advocate Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL. During my residency, I gained valuable experience and honed my expertise in the field.
Prior to my work as a hospitalist, I served as a hospitalist/PCP in a rural area as part of community service. Upon moving to the USA, I pursued observations at prestigious institutions such as Mount Sinai Hospital’s Cardiology department in Chicago, ACCESS community health network clinics, University of Illinois Hospital’s departments of Infectious Diseases and Transplant Infectious Diseases, and Cook County Health and Hospital’s department of hematology. Subsequently, I completed a three-year Internal Medicine residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago.
When I’m not caring for patients, I cherish spending quality time with friends and family. Whether it’s enjoying gatherings, going for walks, watching movies, or traveling together, these moments bring me joy and fulfillment outside of my professional life.
