Get to Know Me
My name is Desiree Ortiz Feist, MD and I am a passionate hospitalist dedicated to providing comprehensive care at HCA Brandon Florida Hospital. My academic journey began at the University of South Florida, where I majored in biomedical sciences. This strong foundation led me to St. George’s University, where I earned my medical degree, followed by a challenging yet rewarding residency in Internal Medicine at HCA Brandon Florida Hospital. During my residency, I served as Chief Resident. I had the opportunity to engage in extensive research and gained valuable experience across all internal medicine specialties, including rotations on the internal medicine floors and ICU. Outside of my professional life, I cherish time with my husband, our baby daughter, and our extended families. We love spending time on the water, relaxing by the shore, or engaging in water sports. When we’re not outdoors, you can find us binge-watching documentaries
