Arlene Blankenship, MSN, APRN, FNP-C believes that, in patient care, there is always room to “do more” for her patients. As an APRN, Nocturnalist/Hospitalist, Arlene believes that every patient should feel as though they are safe and cared for at all times. Arlene treats her patients as if they are her family.
Arlene has been at Advent Health North Pinellas for many years. Prior to joining Pioneer Medical Group, Arlene was the Team Lead, Charge Nurse on PCU. Her prior medical experience was in EMS and she trained with Spring Hill Fire Rescue. Her path in EMS includes, being a EMT-Paramedic, on a very busy ALS ambulance, a flight Paramedic and a flight Nurse. Following her career in Emergency Medicine, Arlene returned to Keiser University and obtained her ASN in nursing. While working as an RN, she also obtained her BSN and MSN in nursing at Keiser University along with a postmasters Family Nurse Practitioner degree.
Arlene moved to Tarpon Springs from New England in 1999. She lives local with her husband and four daughters. Arlene has small private horse rescue. She rescues horses and many other animals. This is her second passion.
