Get to Know Me
I completed my medical education at the University of the West Indies, Mona in Jamaica. Following that, I pursued my residency at Carilion Clinic Virginia Tech Internal Medicine Residency in Roanoke, Virginia.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in various roles at different institutions. I have served as a Hospitalist at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital and also held the position of Medical Director at the same facility in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Additionally, I worked as a Hospitalist and Admitter at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Outside of my professional life, I have a deep passion for vegetable gardening. There is so much satisfaction in cooking with the produce I grow and sharing it with my friends and family. I also find solace and joy in activities like hiking, biking, and spending time at the beach. Being outdoors brings me peace and keeps me balanced.
My family is also an important part of my life. I have two wonderful boys and have been happily married to my beloved husband for 24 years. We enjoy spending quality time together and cherish each moment we have. We are a tight-knit unit and love the sense of togetherness and connection we share.
