Get to Know Me
I am an Attending Physician specializing in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. I obtained medical education from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara and Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, New York. After that, I completed my residency in Family Medicine at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, a division of Cornell Medical Center. I became Board-Certified in Family Medicine in 1990.
From 1990 to 2007, I operated a successful private medical practice in New York. I provided care to patients in various settings, including hospitals, private offices, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities. Since 2008, I have continued my practice in Florida, serving patients in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.
Throughout my career, I have also worked at Advent Health Hospital from 2017 to 2023 and Highlands Regional Hospital from 2011 to 2018. In addition to my work in medicine, I enjoy hobbies such as rebuilding antique cars and engaging in cattle ranching.
