Rachel has over two decades of healthcare management experience with a focus on leadership, hospital operations, and strategy. She enjoys fostering positive relations with her teams and believes in the power of collaboration. She is passionate about leading and guiding teams to unify and execute clinical performance improvement processes that support the delivery of a positive, high quality, and safe patient experience. As the COO, Rachel is looking forward to working with the team, building on Pioneer’s existing strong foundation and culture to further contribute to the success of the company’s mission.
Rachel started her career in 1997 as a Radiation Therapist and has held several administrative roles over the years in the Advent Health System. She most recently served as the AVP of Ancillary Services at Advent Health Wesley Chapel and VP of Operations at Advent Health Tampa respectively. In these roles, she provided leadership and administrative oversight for the clinical non-nursing service lines as well as non-clinical service lines. Her primary duties included development and execution of efficient operations and cost effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization.
Originally from Illinois, Rachel received her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from University of St. Francis and later earned her Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix. Her biggest accomplishment is raising her son and daughter as a single mom.
She enjoys travel, live music, interior design, exercise, and has recently joined the Pickleball craze.
