Pioneer Medical Group seeks Associate Medical Director / Hospitalist to work at AdventHealth Sebring & AdventHealth Lake Placid in Highlands County, FL. Responsible for providing direct care in internal medicine to adult patients in clinical rotations; diagnosing patients; ordering consults, diets, IV fluid; consulting pharmacies; ER admissions; & discharging of patients. Will provide coverage for Medical Director; physician presence at meetings; manage residency program; assist Medical Director with shadowing duties; project assignment & outcome metric tracking.
Candidates must have M.D. degree or certified foreign equivalent, valid FL physician license; completion of internal medicine residency program; and BE/BC in internal medicine prior to employment commencing.
